Dr Derma (“Dr Derma”, “we”, “us”) is a product-discovery service that ranks Indian direct-to-consumer (D2C) skincare and haircare and links you to each brand’s own store, plus an AI advisor, “Dr. Derma”. It is operated by Asva AI. We do not sell products and never process payments. This policy explains what limited data we handle and why.

What we collect

• Usage analytics. Anonymous, aggregate events such as which products or categories are viewed, searches run, and buy-button clicks. This helps us improve the rankings and the product. We do not build advertising profiles.
• Questions to the AI advisor. When you ask “Dr. Derma” a question, the text is sent to our server and to our AI provider (Google Gemini) solely to generate a recommendation from our own ranked catalog. Please don’t include personal or medical identifiers in your questions.
• Support messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply.

We do not require an account, and we do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, or payment information.

How we use it

• To operate, rank, and improve Dr Derma and the AI advisor.
• To measure which products and features are useful, in aggregate.
• To respond to support requests.

Sharing & third parties

We use service providers strictly to run the product: cloud hosting and database (Railway, Supabase) and the AI model provider (Google) for the advisor. When you click a “Buy” link you leave Dr Derma and go to the brand’s own store, which has its own privacy policy; the link carries a utm_source attribution tag so brands know the visit came from us. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use only the minimal storage needed to run the site and measure anonymous usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention

Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you.

Your choices

Because we don’t hold accounts or personal profiles, there is little personal data to access or delete. For any privacy question or request, contact us and we’ll help.

Children

Dr Derma is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
